Geological study plan

Geological study (GS) is an important stage in the preparation of any project related to the use of natural resources, infrastructure construction, or land development. This service is provided by specialized geological organizations and aims at collecting and analyzing geological data, which makes it possible to understand soil composition, hydrological conditions, geological structures, and other factors that may affect the project.

Geological study aims to collect detailed information about geological conditions at the selected location.
The main objectives of geological study of an area include:
  • Determination of soil composition. Geological study makes it possible to establish the composition and properties of soils in the studied area. This is important for construction projects such as roads, bridges, and buildings, as it allows taking into account the characteristics of the soil cover and performing the necessary engineering calculations.
  • Analysis of hydrological conditions. Geological study includes the investigation of water resources, hydrogeological conditions, the occurrence of groundwater layers, and potential issues related to water supply and drainage. This is necessary for projects related to the construction of water supply systems, sewerage, and other water infrastructure facilities.
  • Identification of geological risks: Geological study makes it possible to identify potential geological risks such as seismic activity, susceptibility to soil subsidence or landslides, and the presence of caves or soluble rocks. This helps to understand possible safety threats and take the necessary measures to minimize risks during project implementation.
  • Determination of the presence of mineral resources. Geological study can help identify the presence of mineral resources such as ores, oil, gas, or water resources. This is of great importance for geological research, exploration, and development of deposits, contributing to the extraction of natural resources and the development of industries related to their production.
  • Planning environmentally sustainable solutions. Geological study helps to understand the environmental context of the project and its impact on the environment. This makes it possible to develop environmentally sustainable solutions, taking into account geological factors, ensuring balanced development and conservation of natural resources.

A geological study plan regulates prospecting and exploration drilling carried out for the search for mineral resources and for the purpose of preparing reserves of industrial categories for the development of a field or deposit development project. Prospecting and exploration drilling is carried out on the basis of a geological prospecting and exploration drilling project.

This project contains geological, technical, and economic sections. The well drilling project describes the methodology of prospecting and exploration works, designs the locations and planned depths of wells, and the well construction. This project also describes the set of geological, geophysical, and laboratory studies that will be performed at the stage of well construction. Separate sections of the project also describe technical equipment.

The Institute of Geology is a professional partner in the field of geology and geophysics, providing services for the preparation of geological study projects. We have extensive experience working with various clients throughout the country and can guarantee high quality of our services. Our specialists possess the necessary knowledge and skills to perform work at a high professional level. We use modern technologies and equipment to ensure the most accurate study of the geological environment and obtain high-quality data.

The geological study plan service is a necessary stage in the preparation and implementation of any project related to construction, land development, or extraction of natural resources. It allows collecting information about geological conditions, risks, and project potential, which contributes to effective planning and risk reduction.

By ordering geological study plan preparation services from our company, you will receive an individual approach to your project, as well as the opportunity to obtain professional consultation at any stage of work. We guarantee that your project will be developed in compliance with the highest standards of quality and timeliness.
